Jerez Moto3 testing: Day four

The final sessions of this week’s IRTA Moto3 and Moto2 testing are now over, with the last two sessions being completed in much more favourable weather than at the start of the week.

John was 11th in the first of the morning’s two sessions with a 1:49.233 (+2.623). The top three riders in the session were: Alex Rins (Monlau / KTM) 1:46.610, Alex Marquez (Monlau / KTM) +0.376, Miguel Oliveira (Mahindra) +0.938

Session two – the final session of the test – saw John move up to 10th with a 1:48.552 (+2.178). The top three were: Luis Salom (Ajo / KTM) 1:46.374, Rins +1.083, Marquez +1.297
This was also the combined Day 4 classification.

Overall, across the full 4 days of mixed conditions at the test John is classified as 20th, 1:48.552 (+2.178), with teammate Jack Miller 14th, 1:48.038 (+1.664). The top three were: Salom 1:46.374, Maverick Vinales (Calvo / KTM) +0.229, Rins +0.236
