Disappointing 20th for John at Misano

It wasn’t a very positive race for John McPhee at the San Marino Grand Prix today. Right at the start he fell back several positions and was relegated to 26th place. From there he tried to fight back and get towards the front again. In the end he crossed the finish line in 20th position, right behind Spaniard Ana Carrasco, but neither he nor the team are happy with the performance.

John McPhee: “In the beginning I got quit a bad start. So I lost some positions. In turn 7 I made some mistakes and I went straight. Then I was fighting with some slower riders. It was very difficult to pass. But the biggest problem for me was the brakes instability. I need to improve and hope we can get a better result next time.”
