John eager to get racing at Jerez
The fourth round in the chase for points in the 2014 Moto3 World Championship is about to begin. After three oversea races, the MotoGP circus arrives in Jerez de la Frontera for the first European date on the race calendar.
With the 4.4km long circuit also being one of the test tracks, it’s one of the most popular amongst the riders. The track is 11-12 metres wide and the riders have to manoeuvre their bikes around 9 right- and 6 left-hand corners.
The circuit, which is being raced on clockwise, is the leader In Spain with regards to layout and safety.
Team SAXOPRINT RTG’s John McPhee hopes to repeat the good performance and progress of the last race weekend.

“After a disappointing finish in Argentina, I am really excited to try and prove myself again in Jerez. We have done many laps here during the pre-season tests. So I know the new Honda works well at this circuit. I hope I can be fighting for a good position in the race once again.”
