John McPhee hoping to build on strong Le Mans showing this weekend at Mugello

The Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello will be the battle ground for the sixth round of the 2014 MotoGP season this weekend.

The modern track in picturesque Tuscany is characterised by a good mix of slow and fast corners paired with long straights which requires high focus levels of the riders. The track is 5.2km long and will be raced clockwise.

Team SAXOPRINT RTG is hopeful that both riders can continue the good performance they displayed in Le Mans, with John McPhee in particular hoping to build on his solid French GP performance at this iconic track.

“After a strong weekend in Le Mans I’m really excited to get to Mugello. I liked the circuit last year and with the new Hondas I think it will be even nicer to ride. It’s a fast flowing track so I think it should suit my riding style.”
