John McPhee hindered by Qualifying traffic, places 10th on Catalunya grid

John McPhee impressed today with a good 10th place on the starting grid for the Grand Prix of Catalunya at Montmelo tomorrow. He feels very confident and is very keen to perform well, and both these attributes showed clearly during today’s sessions.

Although he got caught up in some traffic during Qualifying, he showed good pace in both FP3 and Qualifying itself – and should hopefully be in a good position to pick up some places in the race.

“I am very satisfied with today and I have a good feeling with the bike. I had huge traffic problems on the last laps, so I couldn`t put it all together and achieve the best result possible. I’m looking forward to the race tomorrow.”
