John McPhee hoping for strong showing on his Honda at Assen
The final rehearsal before the SAXOPRINT RTG team’s home GP at Sachsenring will see the MotoGP circuit make camp at the Dutch circuit of Assen this coming weekend.
Assen is the only circuit to have been on the GP calendar every year since 1949. The track is 4555 metres long, 11 metres wide and will be raced clockwise. 10 left and 7 right hand corners need to be tackled.
The track is very clear and the corners have good visibility and even though the track is one of the more difficult ones, new riders tend to feel at home quickly.
John and the entire SAXOPRINT RTG Team are aiming to give their all to be competitive and fight at the top end of the field.
John McPhee
“In Assen we will push hard to keep improving. The circuit is really fun to ride with the fast corners and I think Honda will be strong here.”
