Strong seventh grid place for John McPhee at Indianapolis

With a strong start after the summer break, Saxoprint – RTG squad rider John McPhee will start from a good grid position in today’s race.

With seventh position secured in qualifying John McPhee confirmed his strong performance from practice the day before.

John is full of confidence and he likes the new track very well. The combination of bike and rider is perfect for even the Honda – engines are again very powerful and run very well.

Both John and teammate Efren Vazquez have great pace and are always among the top 6. Now hopes lie with a continuation of this for the race itself.

John McPhee:
“I am really happy with the qualifying and we had some good pace falling on the session. My feeling was good, but there was so much traffic in the end and what it difficult for me to improve increase the time. But we are not so far away. And When I can go away with the top-group tomorrow its going to be hopefully a good result. “
