18th on Indianapolis grid for John McPhee

Today was a day of improvement at Indianapolis for John McPhee. Saturday morning’s FP3 had seen him improving on Friday’s practice sessions and move up to 18th position.

Although John subsequently spent much of the Qualifying session outside the top twenty, in the final minutes he was able to put in a flyer which jumped him up into 15th.

As the flag fell he was nudged back three places into 18th. Overall John remains happy with the improvements made and aims to continue in that direction tomorrow in the warm-up and race.

John McPhee:
“We made a good improvement today. We know where we want to be and we are not far away from the front. For me it was a positive thing and we keep improving and tomorrow in the race we will do the best we can!”
