Steady start at Motegi for John McPhee
It was a sure but steady start for John McPhee in Japan today, in FP1 and FP2 for this weekend’s Grand Prix.
The young Scot – despite lying in 23rd position – was 1.517 seconds off the leader, and thinks that there is still plenty of possibility to get the necessary improvements in place ahead of qualifying and race.
John McPhee: P23 (+1.517):
“From the lap times today, we are not so far away. The position is not so good, but we managed to find a clear direction for what we want to do tomorrow, Because We gone a little bit in the wrong way today. So I am feeling good for tomorrow. I think we can improve a lot and I hope to be more close to the front.”
