John McPhee shows good pace in opening practice at Valencia

John McPhee made a solid if understated start to his Valencia weekend, placing 24th in the final standings for the day, though not far off the pace of the first place rider.

John got down to work, sorting setups and refinements, and is generally happy with the pace knowing he’s found some improvements himself, and is looking forward to working further on the progress tomorrow.

John McPhee: P24 (+0.804):
“For today the position didn’t looked so good, but we improved the feeling from the bike and made some good progress. In the end I’ve done the laps alone, but I had some traffic so I wasn’t able to get the perfect time. Overall I feel not so bad for tomorrow and I think we can have a much stronger day and I hope we can be much closer to the front in the end of the qualifying.”
