John ready for raceday battle after tough Le Mans qualifying

British Talent Team rider John McPhee faces a fight back from a tough starting position in France, after qualifying dawned as the first dry session of the weekend for Moto3™.

McPhee was only a second off the pole time in an incredibly tight qualifying, and will be pushing hard to move through the field and make up positions off the line from P25.

Weather should be more stable tomorrow for the race, with McPhee heading out for the fight at 11:00 (GMT +2).

John McPhee, P25:
“With qualifying being our first dry session of the weekend it was always going to be difficult. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a proper lap together and ended the session a second off the pace. Although we’re not too far away laptime wise, everyone is so close it puts me way down the grid for tomorrow’s race. I’ve got my work cut out for me but believe I can make up lots of positions once the lights go out.”
